Just heard on the radio tha Exxon posted a $11.7 Billion quarterly profit. The largest quarterly profit ever earned by a private corporation. I'm hoping they are accumulating these profits to invest and develop alternative energy sources.
Actually, its profit margin was less than expected because its investment in exploration and production was larger than expected.
......I forgot to add that it would have been larger, but they are still paying out on the Valdez spill.
