The Flaming Lips are spectacular. I remember dancing to their last album the day it came out, and then stepping on a toothpick which became stuck in a tendon in my foot. I had to go to the ER. They've done some great covers too... If you search for it, you can see them covering Pink Floyd's "Breathe" on youtube.

But, I've in fact already found the greatest thing on youtube and posted it in the other youtube thread, and it happens to be a live performance of this song:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=jQAvflPexng

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

The Doors - Fever (LIVE medley)
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ntAkBiqJ99k

This is one of the most "covered" songs in the history of Rock n Roll, and apparently, it spawned The Door's "Light My Fire."

Oh yeah, they're synonymous with rock n roll.

The Stones are what it's all about. Their music is what rock n roll is suppose to sound like.

I enjoy just about every song they've ever recorded. cool

Ya, that's pretty much why I take residence at youtube.

I NEVER thought in a million years I would be able to discover and re-discover some of the footage I've seen.

It's incredible. And keep the Judy stuff coming, I beg of you.
