I was just wondering what your guys' favorite quote of scene is from the novel.

For me, I am going to have to go with the scene when Luca's vest is brough in: "and it was Tom that said, it's an old sicilian message: it meens Luca sleeps with the fishes."

I haven't read it more than once, and I'm too lazy to go to my room to refer to it, so I don't have a quote.

My favourite scene, however, would be influenced by images from the movie, so I'll go with one that didn't makie the film: Al Neri cracking his torch over the thug's head.

Puzo was first and foremost a fine storyteller in the grand Italian tradition. My favorite story in the novel is of the Bocchicchio family and how they were instrumental in bringing Michael back from Sicily.

I absolutely agree! smile I think its a shame it wasn't included in the trilogy. ohwell I should definetly re-read this part.

My favorite quote is: "A man with a briefcase can steal more than a hundred men with machineguns."

"I won't be a man like you." - Michael to Vito, orginal Part II ending
