I get a laugh out of how the auto-makers are now advertising some of their less fuel-efficient models now. Hyundai is now proud to advertise that one of their SUV models gets a whole 23 MPG!! Wow!! 23 MPG!!! Lets all run out a buy one! (It MAY be decent mileage for an SUV, but still... 23 MPG as a big selling point?)

Another manufacturer (can't honestly remember which one it is) is happily advertising that you can ride 500 miles on a tankful of gas. WOW!!! 500 miles!!! What they don't tell you is the car has a 22 gallon tank!!

Give them 10 years to catch up with the true idea of this fuel crisis.
