I actually sent an email to my BGE home website about installing central air. I might have to hanker down and pay to get it. After only 2 days I'm feeling it already.
You'll get that money back when you sell your house (central a/c would be a good improvement and a strong selling point).
My house had central air, but the previous owners removed it and put in wall air conditioners. I wanted in the worst way to put it back in, but my wife doesn't want to. She hates A/C. I just called home from work, and despite it being 99 degrees outside, she doesn't have the A/C on.
