Now THAT'S hot!!!

I hadda turn off my a/c. I was having some kind of electrical power issues (the a/c would stop, and then go back on... I noticed one of my power strips, which has a light on it indicating power, was turning "off".)

Dunno if it's a brownout (the tv picture didn't shrink and the p.c. wasn't affected) but I'm afraid of an electrical fire, so to be safe I turned the a/c off. The temperature in my bedroom went up at least 20° in the last 30 minutes.

I hate summer!

I remember when a heat wave hit shortly after my wife and I moved into our first house in August. We had one air conditioner and wanted to get through the summer without buying another one.

We would spend time in shopping malls and go to a movie. We felt that the movie didn't have to be good because it was worth $5 to sit in a soft chair in an air conditioned theatre for two hours.
