I'm shocked!! It's '60 out there now and the sky is a pretty blue and the sun is out.

Rain??? I wish it were cold and rainy here... it's been over a hundred degrees the past couple of days. Very miserable. At least with cold and rainy you can put on more clothes to stay warm and dry. All you can do with the heat is get naked and drink as much water as you can... unless you have a job. Then you have to work and sweat and get dizzy. YAY!...

Bibbble, it's been in the 100's here too. I didn't think it got that warm where you are? Anyway, they expect it at least through the weekend. Although, I don't like being outside walking around in the heat that much, I can't say I really mind thus far. I love summer.

It is freaking cold here. The high will only be in the mid fifties. I'm freezing.

It finaly dried up out there. It rained for the past two days. In the 80's out there. Time to turn on the AC.

For about two weeks now the wind has been blowing like crazy. Today the gusts are huge and more on the way. Is this something biblical?

The night was sultry.

After the thunderstorms this week it's supposed to get into the high 90's this weekend, with the heat index in the 100's. I hate having to turn the a/c on already.

I can't wait. I love it when it's hot. Today was supposed to be sunny and in the 80s, but it's rainy and cool instead. I'll believe when I see it.

The girl who sits next to me at work is bitching that she's going to New York tomorrow and it's supposed to be 93 degrees. I told her I'd gladly take her place.

Hotter than hell. I enjoy the heat for the most part, but it is also very humid. It was about 88 yesterday and is expected to be 92 today. We've had a nice spring in the northeast and I'm ready for summer.

It's weird, because right now it's cool out. But yeah, thay're calling for 95 in Central Park tomorrow. I'm playing golf early, before it gets stifling out.

I'm gonna attempt to mow my grass tonight since I didn't do it last weekend. I have asthma and can't be out with a lawn mower when it's 90 plus degrees out. Since we really didn't have a cold winter we're gonna hat a stifling summer.

Same here Goombah. I mowed the grass today and boy did I sweat like a pig.

It will be the same here too. Long Island USUALLY runs a few degrees cooler due to the ocean effect (the sea breeze usually kicks in about 2:00 p.m. and lowers the temperature) but it will still be over 90° the next three days.

I'm baby-sitting my landlord's dog today and tomorrow, so I'll be joining him in the backyard and running under the sprinkler with him.

I might pay to see that.

As for California, in my are, we are looking at a very pleasant 82 and sunny. Nice day to wash my car.

HOT! HOT! HOT! I didn't get around to cutting my grass yesterday, so I did it at 8:00 this morning before it got to be about 95 degrees. Seems like a good day to sit in and watch my West Wing dvd's.

You have a/c near the tv, right?

The a/c is in the dining room window, I have fans in both the living room windows. It won't be as cool as I'd like, but hopefully I'll manage. I guess I have no choice since summertime hasn't even started yet.

Living in California I tend to forget what "muggy" really is. Yes, it gets hot here and hot is hot no matter how you slice it.

Howver, a couple years ago I went to Michigan in the summer to visit my family. As soon as I got off the plane, walking through the airport, I could feel the mugginess/stickiness. I thought to myself, "oh yes, I remember this." The temp was in the low nineties but the humiidy was either very high, OR I forgot just what mugginess is.

Yahoo says 93°F (36°C) -- "Feels like 101°". This should feel like a cool spell compared to Monday's 98°

Looks like I'll be sleeping on my futon the next few days since my bedroom doesn't have A/C

Its a (relatively) cool 87° here (feel like 95°). My living room is 85° (no a/c there) but the bedroom is comfortable.

It could be worse... Baltimore is reporting 98° with a feel like of 110°. Poor Beth.
