They recently opened up this HUGE OTB (Off-Track Betting (on horse races)) & Sports Bar here called Favorites, so a buddy and I checked it out tonight. Place is HUGE! Certainly 100000% different than the tiny OTB's you see in Manhattan with degenerates stumbling in and out. This place is beautiful, with entire walls and 160 handicapping desks filled with over 350 (!) flat screen monitors. Apart from Fantasy Horse Racing, I never really bet on horses, and have a lot to learn, but it was pretty fun. I only made 3.5 bets and lost $27, but learned a lot and will be ready for next time -- after a little studying-up at drf.com! lol
