The "feel good" story of the day:
A girl's baseball game (somewhere on the west coast)... One of the players hit a home run and when she was running the bases, she fell at first base after injuring her leg. The league rules stipulate if her teammates helped her, the run would not count, so the opposing team's players carried the runner around the rest of the bases.
Sportsmanship is dead?? I don't think so.
I heard that story too, and understand that was the deciding run of the game. The outcome of the game is and will be irrelevant. What those girls did, however, certainly isn't.
