Pretty soon your sons will be able to do that for you. It's a good feeling although it's one of my favorite jobs around the house.


I love working on the lawn! Matter of fact, when my son was old enough to do so, I still would not let him as that was MY job. He does not take the time to do it properly and wants to race through it.

I have mowed twice and got the pre-emergent down but have a lot to do to make my yard look the way I desire. We moved last year to a new place and the previous owners had moved 5 months previous to us buying the house. Thye idd mow regularly but did not fertilize etc,,, and the crab grass took over in the summer.

I am planning to mow the lawn when I get home from the office today. I am excited as I just got a new riding lawn mower!


My eldest boy is desparate to start lawn mowing duties which is a good sign. For the moment he just cleans the mower and strimmer up when i am finished which is a grand help to me.

I am breaking him in gently \:\)

I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees!
