Not a good sign.... the company should pick up your travel expenses for an interview.
That's what my father said. Here's a difference in price between this Thursday or Friday and next Tuesday. A flight on Delta on either this Thursday or Friday will run a little over $1,600. A flight on Delta next Tuesday will run a little over $400. Yeah, guess which one I'm going with.
Don't forget to keep all records of such expenses associated with getting a job. They're deductible. Plane fare,taxis, meals, parking, etc.
That's what I heard. Can I claim this trip as a business expense at the end of the year? I was also thinking today that maybe it's a test by the company. Maybe they'll reimburse me when I get up there and they just wanted to see if I'd make the sacrifice to meet them. Who knows?
