Paranoid Park (2007 - Gus Van Sant) ** Gus Van Sant yet again makes a movie on teenagers and school. I would consider this to be a mix of his previous films. The themes of central character's disconnect with the society and a hint of embarrassment about the teen life are seen here again. Interesting camera movements and effective use of silence. All said, the movie lacks the punch that was seen in Elephant or Good Will Hunting.
