That right there proves that she did a great job of acting. Her character was supposed to get on your nerves.
I agree with you DC but i still dont think she was needed in the programme it would have been better without her
Originally she wasn't supposed to be a regular on the show. However, when Nancy Marchant (Tony's mom) died, Chase had to sort of "replace" her character and decided that sister Janice would now become a regular. Of course Janice was no where near the character of Livia Soprano, but she did kind of replace Livia in that she became a thorn in Tony's side, just as his mother once was.
