Keeping in mind that I know how it is and spent 30 years in the cold wintry Midwest. I know most of this thread is regarding that weather, so whether or not you want to think I am "rubbing it in" is up to you, but......
Yesterday I called my sister during my lunch hour as I was in the sunshine and 80 degree temperature, walking along a mini mall. People had shorts on, convertibles driving by and that smell of "spring" in the air. As my sister told me how bad it was there, I told her, "hearing all this you just reminded me that "THIS is why I moved to California"
