The China Syndrome (1979) *** This is a movie that shows the power of Hollywood in creating a tension filled plot but avoiding its cliches as the same time. Characters in this movie fight the constraints of their professions while trying to hold on to their beliefs. Lots of tense moments and very little of explosions, chases etc.
