Yes definetly so, it's like watching the movie, and wondering what does that mean and why did he do that?, but when you read the book, it's the equivilant of having the script with all the editors notes and special cuts. I seen the movie before I *read the book*, and I'm glad I did, becuase the book is just so extraordinary that even the greates film of all time would still not live up to it, it also allowed me to see the faces and Puzo's descriptions of everything, much more evidently. This aside, I must plead with you to read the novel if you haven't already.
