and right by the door so they can run out when you have a bunch of stuff in your hands and open the door
So does my cat. And she's all black, so if it's at night it's hard to know she ran out. I actually have 3 stray cats that decided my front lawn is their second home. She senses when they're there, and she's pissed they can be out and she can't.
