As a manager/sidekick of Finlay, he works well for either Finlay is face or heel(and he's good at both). In fact, if WWE would push it, Finlay would be even more over as an upper-midcard guy brawling for the US Heavyweight strap.

But otherwise, that whole Hornwoggle-bastard-son storyline with Vince McMahon is just so...........

Stupid?

His part in proceedings does seem a bit silly at times Ron, but he makes me chuckle when he gets in the ring and always needs somebody (bigger obviously) to come save his sorry little behin d!

True.

Still, one has to give him props for that bodyslam spot OFF THE LADDER that Kennedy did at last year's Wrestlemania. Considering his size, its remarkable.

I read on WrestlingNewsWorld.com that Bobby Lashley has left the WWE.

That bathtard.

I read that too on rajah.com. Details as of now are sketchy but I'm surprised. I thought he would have been back by now in the main event status on Raw just waiting for that Cena/Lashley showdown at SummerSlam or something.

A pretty good show so far. Great to hear the you fucked up when Y2J missed the running bulldog. And ahahaha, when they did the kiss cam, the second guy copped a feel.

Edit- ***********SPOILERS**************

#30 is Cena and he ends up throwing out HHH to win the Rumble.

No surprises really last night other than the fact that Cena came back and won the Rumble. I thought he was shooting a new movie and wasn't going to be back until summer?

Yeah, got to give props to Vince on that one. Was a total shock. Also, that HBK and Taker going out sort of early. I know they werent going to win/make the final four because they did that with Rey and HHH a few years back but I thought they would last longer.

Edit- Forgot to mentiion, I guess Big Show is coming back. Stuff on other sites saying he should be back soon.

They also did it with HBK and British Bulldog back in the day. One of my favorite Rumbles ever.

Is that the one where HBk got thrown over but only one foot hit the ground and then came back in and tossed Davey Boy out?

Who do you think will win the elimination chamber match at the next ppv?

Jeff Hardy should be given the nod, but.......no. It'll be the Trips/Orton or Trips/Cena show at Wrestlemania.

That said, I think Hardy is odds-on booking favorite to win Money in the Bank at WM.

Unless of course, WWE wants to give it to Mr. Kennedy again, the same idiot who:

(1) Lost his MITB to Edge after Kennedy got hurt
(2) Publicly claimed he didn't use the roids, then got busted openly...screwing himself, if the reports are to be believed, of his Main Event against Trips at WM 24.

Hardy has busted his ass since coming back to WWE in 2006, and he's super hot with the crowds right now.

BTW, wouldn't a Hardy program with HBK be great? "Passing of the Torch"...it would rock.

BTW, did Jim Ross claim HBK/Taker never fought each other? (Wow, he forgot the...oh I don't know...the first ever HELL IN THE CELL match.)

Agreed. I was watching up until the new year, but I cannot seem to get back into it anymore, but it was slipping before that.

Well before that. I basically severed most if not all ties when they divided the roster into Raw and Smackdown! Biggest crock of shit ever.

A lot of people have said that. I actually like the roster split. It gives some of the other talent more TV time and I only have to sit through John Cena once a week now instead of three times \:p But seriously, I think it's good business

Two Huge Matches Added To No Way Out At SD! Tapings

Moments ago two huge announcements were made at the SmackDown tapings in Reading, PA.

First Theodore Long came out and announced that World Heavyweight Champion Edge will defend his title against Rey Mysterio at No Way Out.

He then announced a SmackDown Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out for a title shot at WrestleMania XXIV. The competitors are revealed as Batista, Undertaker, MVP, Finlay, The Great Khali, and Big Daddy V.

No Way Out will be held on February 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Awesome. Two Elimination Chamber matches in one PPV = me buying.

How much longer do we have to watch Colin Delaney get his ass kicked on ECW? Isn't 5 weeks enough? Move on to the next story line. It was funny seeing Chavo getting hit over the head by CM Punk.

Two?
Two?

Goddamn, can't they just bring back Wargames? Now that was awesome....

Anyway, that SD! version is....a glorified Batista/Taker rematch. My money is on Taker, since Edge/Taker at Wrestlemania would be money.

With RAW, I just fear that Trips and his boys just fucked Hardy this side of Chris Jericho or RVD or Booker T. Pity really...

I'm not the biggest mark of Jeff Hardy by any means but they/Vince would really drop the ball if Hardy didnt win the EC and then win at WM. It's crazy how over the guy is and shit, just give him a run like they did Rey.

As for SD, I'd love to see Finlay win but that will never happen. I've always liked the guy but now that he's getting over with the little guy he should fighting for at least the US belt. But if it comes down to Taker/Batista, I'd rather have Taker win.

So WM would look like:
Hardy/Orton
Edge/Taker
Trips/Batista

Nah. They only did it because they had too many stars, and they had too many stars because they bought out WCW, thus acquiring a monopoly on the entire business. Defeating the competition means you don't have to work as hard to get ratings: and they're not, anymore. Their storylines are absolutely fucking anal, and I think anybody who watches with genuine excitement now - as opposed to nostalgic curiosity - deserves to be raped.
