I'd see the test pattern for a short time and then the Star Spangled Banner started the tv day off.
I remember that. Sometimes I would fall asleep watching tv and be startled awake by the sound of that playing. I used to think I was real big if I stayed up for that.
And at 11:00PM they used to come on and say, "It's 11:00. Do you know where your children are".
I think shows went off the air about 2:00. Kids these days would freak if they didn't have 24/7 tv.
