I just found an old cartoon that I loved when I was a kid called Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy. My dad used to tell me that when I was little and that cartoon would come on, I would always call him over to the TV set and say " Hey dad, they made a cartoon about us!" The dog named Augie and his dad were real buddies in that cartoon.
My dad and I used to laugh at that, and my dad would imitate Doggy Daddy by saying, "My son, my son".
