WTF!? Google isn't loading for me. My Google searchbar at the top right of Firefox just comes up with a dead link, saying the site can not be found. Same when I type "www.google.com" into the actual address bar.

Actually, I enjoy the "Weekly World News" every once in a long while because the magazine says in small print that every story is fake. And they are funny. Worthless and probably a waste of money, but it's fun to read with a bunch of people to laugh about.

Weekly World News is out of business. My niece used to write some of their stories. She loved working there.

I always hate when I need to smog check my car. It's such an inconvenience. I could see it if my car was spitting out gas fumes or smoking like a chimney but sheeez!!!

That's my gripe of the day.

That's funny! I've been driving around with expired plates for maybe six months because of that stupid smog check. It's such a simple thing to do but I just don't want to spend time going to get it smogged. I keep telling myself "next weekend".

I bought my car new. You don't need a smog check for a new car for the first four years. It's in really good shape and I have no doubt it'll pass, but I don't know what smog check points are in my area and it's just a pain in the ass ya know? Yea, that extra "added" step in order to get your new registration. I found one place in my area via the internet and it says 15 minute check, so I'll try that I guess.

I know what you mean, in Germany things are much differant they have a free bar until the end of the night, I went to a wedding last year and got wasted, last time i was proper drunk, they are tight in UK

I have to go to a funeral today, too!!! How weird is that? However, mine is at 10 am in the US, so I doubt that we'll run into one another.

I haven't been to a funeral in over a year, which is a record for me (knock on wood). The last one was a sad one too. It was my son's eighth grade classmate, who had committed suicide.

I've seen his dad several times since, and he's still in shock.

A family drove hundreds of miles with their dead grandmother in the back of their recreational vehicle to fulfill the ailing woman's wishes.

They arrived in Hillsboro, Ore., on Sunday with the body and notified police. The 79-year-old woman, who likely died in Wyoming, was in poor health but wished to see family members in Arkansas before she passed away.

The woman suffered from advanced kidney disease, Hillsboro Police Lt. Michael Rouches said.

"We believe they were about 1,100 miles from Hillsboro when she passed away," Rouches said. "We believe they were in Wyoming. That's based on gas receipts."

Rouches said he didn't expect any charges since the incident is not considered a crime.

Klyd, that is too awful. When I was in my teens, I went to the funeral of a 6 year old, and I thank God I've never had to go the funeral of another child. I would imagine that a suicide would be even worse.
