Yeah, I agree with you. I rarely stop watching something, because curiosity gets the better of me, and I'm of the opinion you should make a conscious effort to like something which at first doesn't tickle your fancy. The reason I say "If I get that far" is because I don't want to big it up too much and seem overly enthusiastic without having ever seen even a clip from it.
Uni won't get in the way. It never has. I can easily watch two films a night, which averages at four hours... so, sacrificing films, I could see four episodes of
The Wire in a night, maybe more.
If anything, the only thing getting in the way is the fact my laptop isn't playing DVDs consistently (need to get that looked into) and as far as the house's shared TV goes, my housemates are addicted to watching
Neighbors (an Australian soap),
Hollyoaks (an English soap) and re-runs of
Friends and
Scrubs.
