Absolutely! It's a BIG business for TV and films. You can see it on certain TV series where they only use one manufacturer's line of cars, or where someone lights up a cigarette and the camera zeroes in on the box. If you watch "Sex in the City" reruns, notice how, every time Carrie's working on her computer, you see the Apple logo. And in most films of the Eighties and Nineties, any wired phone shown will have a prominent AT&T logo--in places on the phone where the logo isn't included in the real world.


Very true. For example, all the cars on The Andy Griffith Show were Fords. Also, promoting a consumable generally. For example, having a character light up a cigarette to promote smoking. Near the end of Superman Returns, Lois goes outside and lights up a cigarette. I thought that was totally out of character with the last part of the film.
