Just to keep things moving here, I checked Priceline.com for r/t flights from NYC to Vegas and randomly put in the first weekend in August, although unless there is some kind of convention, I'm guessing it's pretty much be accurate for the summer. The total r/t nonstop flight was Approx. $335 (including tax), which isn't bad really. Don't know if airlines give group discounts or not. Anyway, FYI.
