What, for example, did "meeting" those people above entail for you, Irish? Exchanging niceties?
Everyone of those people I shook hands with or got an autograph. By meet I mean something more than just walking by someone and smiling or waving. You either received an autograph, got a picture with them, shook hands, told them you enjoyed their work, etc.
