No, not at all. This guy mutilates women for what seems to be just for the "fun of it". If I recall, he starts out kind of charming and turns into the date from hell. A real dark dark drama/horror. I probably saw the last half of it and don't know why I kept watching. Just one of the films that left me chilled to the bone. \:o

I recall before the film was out that they were considering Leonardo DiCaprio for the part. It's good he didn't do it as far as I'm concerned.


This guy would make Norman Bates seem totally sane.
