I used to enjoy the Roy Rogers chain for a roast beef sandwich. There were a million of them on the way down the Jersey Shore, but have disappeared for the most part.
The only Roy Rogers restaurants that I know of are on the PA Turnpike. I know there must be others.
I used to like their Doduble R-Bar burger, which was a cheeseburger with ham.
They also have them along the NJ Turnpike and I95. We passed quite a few of them this past weekend going to and from Virginia.
Their fried chicken was the best.
