Hmmm interesting SB. I am familiar with the St. Joseph's Day celebration but I can't say what you pictured looks real familiar. I know there are different receipes for sfinghi. I guess we should conclude that there must be different variations hu???? When I go back to see my parents, I'll ask them if they know different receipes/variations.
