God...I hate the WWE.

Really, I've grown to loathe it.

-Yeah, the little b*stard was a horrible idea.

-Glad to see Shelton Benjamin take on HHH since Haas is suspended.

It's great to see Elijah Burke getting a chance at the ECW title. Although I won't actually kid myself that he'll win it. But it's good to see him get a main event spot.

Main Event on ECW is like Main Event on old WCW Saturday Night.

In other words, means nothing.

Besides, Burke is promising future main event talent, but CM Punk is already main event material. Really Irish, you seem to jinx your black wrestling heroes.

Of course, Shelton jobbing as a tag teamer to jobbing to Trips...is that actually better?

While you're at it Irish, say something nice about Bobby Lashley. Come on, jinx him!

Maybe I'm wrong but didn't Vince slip on Monday Night..when he started to say about HHH and Stephanie? I don't think HHH and Stephanie being married in real life, is apart of any storyline yet, is it?

Kennedy as the son would have been perfect, bring back Shane-O to defend the honor of the family, he gets taken out, then the son-in-law is revealed and he takes out Kennedy. It would have worked.

Using Hornswoggle just means its going to be a complete joke for the next few months....great writing guys, great writing. I would have preferred HHH to be the son since, well, you know, he IS a wrestler.

WWE probably thought its time to abort the storyline, or to use it as a decoy until Kennedy serves up his roid suspension. Imagine if KEnnedy was revealed last week...at his town of Green Bay...the start of his damn insane push.

BUT NO, he used the roids. Idiot.

As for Vince/HHH, that might have been a hook for the smarks who know reality, and that crap was hinted at during that DX reunion* from late last year/ early January.

Hell DMC, I say it now, and I dare you to argue against me, but....the only program that's working for the WWE as we speak is MVP/Matt Hardy. Unlike Morrison/Punk, this is a "real" chase, which makes both workers look even better in the fans' eyes (Matt as the fan-favorite hero, and MVP as the douchebag heel) and the current Tag Team titles angle to stir that shit up. Good booking, and its the only WWE thing I'm marking over.

BTW, when you guys gonna listen to me and watch ROH tapes? Jesus Christ, do I have to milk that nipple and feed it to you all by hand?

*=Was it me, or 40+ year olds doing fratboy stunts seemed sorta silly? I'm sure Irish is gonna write up an emotional post of why I'm wrong, of how it polishes up a mighty turd.

I've been saying that it was going to be Kennedy all along. It was just that he was stupid and used 'roids. And I like what you said about this just being a "decoy" story line till Kennedy is back.

And yes, ROH is great.

The problem with Kennedy is...i don't believe people buy him as a legit IC-player, much less the main event scene.

Oh and people, listen to Capone. He has seen ROH, he has seen the greatness of wrestling that is NOT the WWE.

Really, I dare Irishman to watch that immortal ROH title win for CM Punk, where the crowd loved him because they thought they just saw Punk's last match at ROH...only for Punk to turn heel by mocking the losers for cheering him on, and then claimed that he just won the ROH belt to bring back to WWE for Mr. McMahon.

And I want Irishman to THEN say that Punk is beyond that ECW crap, that Morrison aint a equal to Punk, and that.....well, watch some more ROH.

Nevermind the great ROH tag team that is the Briscoe Brothers.

What is the purpose of the WWE letting Randy Orton kick the shit out of Mr. Cena?

Looks like John Cena was injured last night during his match with Mr. Kennedy. Preliminary reports suggest he may have torn his left pectoral muscle after a botched hip toss on Kennedy.

At first, I thought it was just a "kayfabe" injury to make Cena the underdog in his match against Orton this Sunday, but it looks to be a legitimate injury.

http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/1/2/wwenews/even_more_details_on_john_cena_s_injury_from_raw.php

So...guess who's (probably) NOT walking out of No Mercy as WWE Champ? \:D \:D \:D

And speaking of No Mercy, why in the fuck is Orton holding a dove in the promotional poster?

Did you see Raw last night XDCX? I can't believe the table didn't break when Orton hit his RKO. Hopefully he wins the title on Sunday and Jericho wins it soon after.

I watched maybe the first half hour. I was really looking forward to the Cena/Kennedy match, but I fell asleep.

That's been a recurring thing, lately.

John Cena's out 6 - 8 months \:o

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – WWE Champion John Cena has suffered a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon and is heading into surgery, according to noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Because of the seriousness of the injury, WWE officials will not allow Cena to compete this Sunday at No Mercy, and he will have no choice but to surrender the title.

Dr. Andrews said Cena could miss between six and eight months of action. Cena was injured during his match Monday night on Raw with Mr. Kennedy. Before visiting Dr. Andrews, Cena had said, “No matter how serious, the injury, one way or another I’ll be ready to compete on Sunday.”

But despite Cena’s vow, WWE officials will not allow him to compete at No Mercy. Therefore, he must surrender the WWE Championship.

WWE officials vow that there will be a WWE Championship Match this Sunday at No Mercy and a new WWE Champion will be crowned.

Stay with WWE.com for further updates on Cena’s condition and on No Mercy as they become available.

I wonder who Orton will be going up against? Mr. big mouth maybe? It's a shame that Cena had to lose the title that way. Best of luck to him.

YES! No more Champ Cena!

And yes, it does suck that he got hurt and that's how he had to lose the title.... but damn it needed to happen.

I agree. It sucks that he had to get hurt to get him to drop it but I'm just happy it's off of him. I don't understand why so many of WWE's top stars have gotten injuried. This is from the year thus far: HHH, Shawn Michaels, Edge, Undertaker, Bobby Lashley, John Cena. That's basically every top title contender pretty much.

You know what WWE should do?

Have a battle royale or a tournament. Besides Trips/Orton/Ummaga, there would be Mr. Kennedy, IC champ Jeff Hardy, and a few others.....including a Mystery Man, who is our savior....

But WWE will still suck the booking for Cena's absence. You know it, I know it, its inevitable.

THEY WILL DROP THE BALL

Thats why Ring of Honor is the shit. One doesn't depend on them or expect them to fuck up.

And in some rather bizarre news, there's a poll up on WWE.com, asking "Who do you think should be WWE Champion?"

According to WWE fans, Val Venis should be Champ. After 5 million votes, he's leading the poll at a whopping 38.31%!

Snitsky comes in at a distant second, with 17.16%.

Yea, I know...

I tell ya, the only WWE program that's working...that's actually NOT fucking up in any form or fashion, is MVP/Matt Hardy. It's built up Hardy as the Carolina boy/layman hero, and MVP as the elitist VIP douchebag, and with their tag team titles run, its milked this tension/feud much more than any WWE feud in recent times.

Really, I seriously see Matt Hardy going main event sometime next year, and MVP within 1-2 years at this continuing rate...and at a time when WWE's "proven" stars are getting old & retiring, and the main event scene sorta stale*, this is a good development for WWE.

Now only if they could pair up CM Punk with someone worth a shit....

*=Great Khali! AHWAHWHAWHAHAA!

I'd rather Orton. I can't believe I'm saying that but I like to see new people with the title. Having the same person win it 11 times is a little ridiculous

Orton got the WWE belt after, apparently, a really really really good Last Man Standing match.

Meanwhile, Jericho is a no show, despite the "Y2J" chants in the crowd.
