Anybody remember what this thread was originally about? Hmmmmm? Signor V. Ooooo Ooooo I know (saying in my best Arnold Horshack imitation) I'm sorry Don Cardi hijacked your thread.

I'm sorry Don Cardi hijacked your thread. What I'm truly sorry about is because of stuff like allergies, etc., folks like you and SC can't enjoy this recipe. The realization only hit me after I posted it. Ironic, because even though it was a particular crowd pleaser, we had at least one close friend who couldn't eat it for similar reasons. As Lincoln once said, while devouring his lasagna, "You can't please all of the people all of the time." Or something like that. Signor V.
"For me, there's only my wife..."
"Sure I cook with wine - sometimes I even add it to the food!"
"When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies?"
"It was a grass harp... And we listened."
"Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it? Every, every minute?"
"No. Saints and poets, maybe... they do some."

The realization only hit me after I posted it. Ironic, because even though it was a particular crowd pleaser, we had at least one close friend who couldn't eat it for similar reasons. Something like that should not come into consideration when deciding on whether or not you wanna post a recipe. You've been around long enough to know that some topics simply go off-topic for no good reason.

Don Cardi Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.

I don't know if I dare! ( My version, or the one from Rocky Toto's Restaurant? ) Actually I haven't made it in a bit and I realized I never really wrote anything down; it was always "a pinch of this and a little bit of that". Next time I prepare it I'll have to finally jot down some notes. No bitter Apples in my version, though. Signor V.

That is the best way to cook. "a pinch of this and a little bit of that" Mig, I love you but I don't wanna hear about what you and the Colonel do in the kitchen.
