We were recently in Florida. After a few days of lounging on the beach, the sun and surf were completely bleaching out my hair color and my natural white was coming through BIG TIME, especially at the temples.

By the last day, Mr. Babe had a new nickname for me - Paula Walnuts!

Her brother is keeping the dog, so maybe he'll get it, who knows. You have to remember, this dog doesn't eat alpo. It only eats fine gourmet food, literally served on a silver platter. It probably gets pedicures too. The maid who sued in 2004 that the dog constantly bit her says the dog is literally every bit the bitch Leona was.

NEW YORK - Jeshuah Fuller's parents expected him to be born with extra fingers. The extra toes, though, were a surprise.

Jeshuah, healthy and weighing 7 pounds, was born in Brooklyn on Tuesday with 12 fingers and 12 toes. His rare condition, called polydactylism, is usually genetic.

His dad was born with an extra finger on his left hand. His mom, Quana Morris, said she'd had an ultrasound image taken during her pregnancy and knew the baby would have extra fingers.

"We were counting them on the sonogram," she told the Daily News.

She didn't know he would have 12 toes, she said. He'll have all the extra digits surgically removed in a couple of weeks, his mom said.

It's starting to cool down here, which is a bit depressing. It's only been in the upper 70's/low 80's.

I am torn between not wanting summer to end, and not being able to wait to get the kids out of the house!!

I had to work outside in the 100 degree weather today. Please feel sorry for me! Or not. But it certainly was miserable... I can't drink enough water to replenish the water I'm sweating out. I think I'm going to finally let myself pass out now that I think of it.

Hello Bibble, my West Coast friend. Yes, I do feel sorry for you. At least I work inside where the air is on so high I put on a sweater.

Even though there is no humidity, 100 degrees is still 100 degrees hu? BTW, I thought Nortern CA was a lot cooler than SoCal.

Normally it is cooler up here, but lately there hasn't been much of a breeze coming in off the cold ocean waters, so... we're cooking up here. And we don't have stylish skimpy swimwear, or artificial body enhancements to show off like you SoCal folk.

Well as much as I enjoy summer, I am looking forward to a little cool off. The couple months in the summer it gets very warm (Inland) and that's it. Then, who can complain about 70 degree winter temps. Nothing beats the CA climate.
