If you have family from both England and Scotland then the team for you is the mighty Newcastle United! http://www.nufc.co.uk Does Newcastle have anything to do with me having relatives in England and Scotland? Or is that just your favorite team? A little bit of both! Newcastle is the last big city before Scotland in England so we have a lot of Scots living here.... And yes Newcastle are both my home and favourite team

I don't know mate! This is a funny one. Oba has done ok for us but he has'nt set the world alight. However i think he may do ok under Allardyce. The speculation about him going is in the papers every week so we tend to dismiss it a bit now! As for signing someone i would like to see us sign Michael Owen....... Oh hang on we already did did'nt we?

Have you seen them play? Terrible. Them and Derby for sure are going down and then either Birmingham or West Ham. That would be cool to see West Ham go down after all the shit they pulled last year. What did West Ham do last year?

DISCLAIMER: To all of you fans, I hope you'll go easy on me because I'm an American, meaning I have about the same "Soccer" (UGH, I hate my country for naming it that) knowledge as a five year old in the rest of the world. I did play in school as a defender and absolutely loved the sport, and have watched the World Cup the last two times even though I had to stay awake at odd times of the night/morning in order to watch games. So please, in future posts, when I ask a question or make a statement that makes you roll your eyes, it's because I'm still learning and will probably never have the knowledge you all have. I try to think about you guys following American Baseball. I wouldn't even know where to start in that sport but because I grew up with it, it feels like second nature. I'm sure that's what football is to you guys. One of these days I'm going to visit England and a football match is the highest priority of things to do while I'm there. Maybe I could even go with some of you, that would be fun! So again, please go easy on a new fan from a country that is football-dumb.

What did West Ham do last year? Lets just say they did some very shady things last season and it would I think be poetic justice.

this ones for you DeNiro
Darlington 2-2 Notts County A last-gasp goal from Richard Butcher saw Darlington drop their first points of the season as Notts County twice came from behind to snatch a draw. The hosts had two early goals disallowed but Tommy Wright did give them the lead on 40 minutes.
Butcher levelled from close range on 72 minutes before Ian Miller gave the hosts the lead again with a header.
But Butcher seized on some poor defending at the death and slotted past David Stockdale in the Darlington goal.

Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate on the departure of Yajubu: "We either go home and sulk or roll our sleeves up and get on with it. "Let's say 'We've got Newcastle on Sunday, a fantastic game, into the breech lads and go and get the win'.
"We have got lads who want that opportunity, and they are looking forward to it."
Newcastle striker Mark Viduka: "Newcastle fans have yet to see the best of me but perhaps that will all change on Sunday. "I loved my time at Middlesbrough and if I score I won't celebrate too much.
"But I am a Newcastle United player now and I will be focusing on trying to take the three points home."
BIG-MATCH FACTS This is the first north-east derby of the Premier League season, as well as the 118th competitive Tees-Tyne derby, 111th in the league, 23rd in the Premier League.
Newcastle did not manage to score in last season's two clashes with their rivals from Teesside.
