....except one time. The time that we were in the new chat room and I wanted to introduce you to Sophia, but you refused. And as Sophia told Geoff, A refusal is not the act of a friend.
(in the chat room, two weeks ago):
Sophia: "Hello, Mignon"
Mig: (no answer)
Sophia: "You don't want to chat with me?"
Mig: (no answer)
Sophia: "Why won't you speak to me?"
Mig: (no answer)
Sophia: "You're not being very friendly."
Becky: "Wait a minute, you're saying if we speak to you that means we're friendly?"
Mig: (signs off and speaks to Becky): "Beck, you're my daughter and I love you but don't ever take sides against the family again."
(three days later at the dinner): Mig gets pummeled by a barrage of purple potatoes.
(next day in the hospital room): the attendees file in to say hello to Mignon, DMC visibly shaken by the attack is sitting in the corner.
DMC: "I'm going to Kentucky to learn the squirrel skinning business".
