I strongly recommend to our overseas paisani that they view "The Wild One," with Marlon Brando. It's about a motorcycle gang (like the Hell's Angels) that takes over and destroy a small California town in the early '50's. It's basically a "B" movie, but it contains one of Brando's most electrifying performances. US movie reviewers consistently place it high up on their list of the most influential films of the Fifties.
