I got to thinking about this oh-so-important side contest (Because I have a chance at winning) and I realized we didn't start keeping track of the '00' point days for PS' until recently. So after some grueling research, I scrolled through all 19 pages of scores and tallied up everybody's Pointless PS days. Here is the official update:

Pointless PS Contest
 Code:
KL  = 5
BL  = 3
CC  = 3
JG  = 2
DB  = 2
GG  = 1

Well, being in last place here is a GOOD thing*... ;\)

You mean like if I were to get a -5 from OAK today? Something like that?

\:\(

I love the double meaning of the contest's title: "Pointless PS Contest."

Gina, it sounds to me like you're doing an excellent job around here, tallying, posting, and so on. And that JG keeps picking on you!! If you'd like me to step in and kick his ass, let me know.

I could never ask for that! But if you insist...

No, really, I'd much rather you just help me find a way to jinx him. \:D

KL, I like that idea! But maybe we should have the pit covered when our guys are out on the field because I'd really hate to lose Pence to a bunch of hungry crocodiles.

It would be my pleasure, but my only problem is that he might pick the Yankees, and I can't jinx THEM!

SB, if I recall correctly, I think he usually avoids the Yankees because he worries he would jinx them. He's a nervous man when it comes to fantasy sports, and we must take advantage of that.

Hmm..should this have been in a PM?

Let me be the first to congratulate TM on his first half win (your first major, no?). You played the last weekend masterfully.

As for me, I'm glad we're at the all-star break. Scores start again at zero.* \:D

* Except for those who will follow the all-important overall standings.

thank you DB! your competition is what makes me a better player. you only lost because you couldn't play defense on the last D/H. but overall is what matters!

Congrats to TM for a very well-played first half!

However, I predict that JG will finish first in the second half. He's going to really put on a show. (And not in the way DM is probably used to him doing.)

Oh, come on, Geoff. Would I ever say something that I didn't mean?

I was also going to say that you'd be sure to come out on top, but perhaps that would've been going too far.

Now that's the Gina I like to see!! Talking a little smack, keeping JG in his place, you just need to get over this thing you have about being nice to DS all the time.

Congratulations on winning the first half TM!

I'm just happy to have finished above 90 PCT. I went from ranked about 45,000 to 9,082. Watch out in the second half everybody \:D

Did CC drop out of the second half? I don't see her name listed now when I check the standings on the ESPN site.
