If the scores are correct then I should have moved up a spot. But with my luck I'm sure the scores changed overnight...haha.

I wonder what he'll be remembered for - his playing career or the debacle that followed his death?

I hope the former although the latter was one of the most bizarre stories surrounding the death of a ball player.

Just a guess, but I'm thinking it's a player from one of the latest expansion teams... Someone like Todd Helton from Colorado.

Good guess, but the answer is Jeromy Burnitz, who's been in the big leagues since 1993, but has never tasted the post-season.

2nd half is starting after the all-star break. If you manage to keep your DNPs down, you could surprise.

Man, I was expecting this in Game 2, not Garland/Baker.

...at least it was Konerko \:\)

BTW, note the pitching change in Game 2: both pitchers making their first starts of the season. Could get ugly!

One of these days, I'll get one of your questions right.

It won't be this one though - I can't name you one player that was born in Massachusetts much less naming the most prolific homerun hitter from it.
