I forgot to tell you, somebody came into my work the other day who looked exactly like Hunter S. Thompson. He even had the glasses and everything. He bought Marlboro Reds.

Did he smoke them out of a cigarette holder?

I have a cigarette holder from two or three Halloween's ago when I dressed up like him. I almost feel like I need to take up smoking so I can use it.

I let my friend smoke out of it, though. Now it taste like shit and vomit had a baby. Cigarette's have a god awful taste.

I thought about smoking a joint with it, but it's not worth it. It filter's the smoke way too much. That's probably the only reason Thompson didn't die of lung cancer at 35. Those things just filter the cigarette so much... You barely get any of the smoke.

Nah, no cigarette holder. He did, however, put out his last cigarette in front of the store, then walk out with one in his mouth.

That's some hardcore cancer-chasing.

How do i post a picture ive been trying for ages i just cant do it!!!!!!!!!

If you want the board to "host" the picture for you its quite simple:

1. Open up a post box like you normally would when you post a message.

2. Click on "File Manager" line (just below the box)

3. Browse your pc's files until you find where the picture that you want to post is.

4. Pick that picture and add that to the box; click on finish and just follow the normal posting steps after that.

BTW - You must add some typed message in the box and the photo has to be in a format that is recognized by the boards (i.e. "jpg").

it wont let me do it its saying my files are to big but its only one picture is there any other way of doing it?

Just open it in paint, or some program like it, and resize it so that it's smaller.

Then use a photo uploading site, like imageshack or photobucket, and then use the image button to link to it.. or follow SC's steps.

But you probably shouldn't, just to spite him.

Saturday night I went with my sister Angel and her husband to Penn's Landing in Philadelphia to watch the fireworks. They had spent a 3 day weekend there last week. They ate dinner on the deck of the Moshulu. We stopped by there, and wound up just sitting on the grass across from the ship to watch the fireworks. We attempted to get a picture of the fireworks and the ship all together but it was just too dark. We did get a picture of the ship with the lights on. Beth - You incorrectly linked to your pix... you would use that format only if you had the pictures in a file on your computer. You can link to that hosting site, Photobucket, (using the link button - not the photo button) but then you'd have to provide a password (apparently its password protected).

using the URL tag works to link to them... not sure why it otherwise didn't work...

How far of a ride is that for you from where you live?

We drove from my sister's. She lives up in the boodocks in Maryland, so from her house it's about 1 hour 20 minutes. But for them they have to drive that far to get anywhere, including to work. Heck, they have to drive 20 minutes to go to the grocery store.

So if we were to try and plan a Gangster BB dinner at Penn's landing, it wouldn't be that bad of a trip for you.

Only if my sister was coming. I don't drive, so it's not convenient for me. It would depend on how far it was from the bus terminal.

I really liked Penn's Landing and would love to stay there for a weekend sometime.

They stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. They took the duck tour, and some bus you pay $4.00 all day and it rides your around to different destinations.
