Pfft! I'm in 3rd Place and have excuses coming out of my ass! I just choose not to share (whine) them all...

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

I won't even bother making excuses. My effort even when playing has been poor.

I'd vote for JG as having the Most Entertaining Whines. I thik we all have our whining moments, but his are so expressive and emotional, they always make me laugh. A fine example would be the one about halfway down page 21 of the Yahoo thread.

I don't know about this, but for a "Talked About Something Other Than BBC" award, I might win. Most of my posts are whines about the Astros. I'm talking baseball, but I doubt it belongs in this thread.

You mean the "8* Things I Know I Know", or the bitching about how NYY couldn't hit shit @COL rant?

It's not whining... it's ANALysis... \:D

The rant. \:D

The Things You Know You Know was just a rip-off of CS. Even if you did credit him. \:p

But I did like it. ;\)

I couldn't have said that any more confused!

EDIT: Maybe this is just a part of JG's attempt at "Most Excuses Made" award.

FFS... I thought Penny was pitching
I missed this part:

I just turned on the tv and noticed on NBC the Panasonic Challenge of bikes was on tv. That's actually taking place at M&T bank stadium here. My daughter is working that venue. It's sponsored by Mountain Dew and she's one of the people handing out free Mountain Dews.

The Astros relievers are finally through embarrassing themselves.

Stats for our bullpen since we began the road trip...
11.02 ERA
4 Runs or more in 4 Games
2 Losses, 3 Blown Saves

And tonight...
3 IP, 6 ER, 3 HR

But we managed to win! And Biggio's now at 2996 hits - I hope he slows down so we can see him reach 3000 at home.

I'll take a pounding tonight; Didn't get my picks in. How about Blibble's surge? Someone better check his urine.

Thanks, by the way, for the kind words and references about my boy. Wednesday night, he'll be the starting first baseman for Harrisburg Suburban American as they take on the all-stars from Hershey. Williamsport, here we come! \:D

He's going up against the team from Hershey? No worries. I hear that they're all a bunch of candy-asses. ;\)

I just might have to add that line to my heckling. ;\)

I was watching my other son play a teener game in Hershey Friday night from 8:30-11:00 pm. The heavy aroma of chocolate fills the air there most of the day and night.

It's been a slow and steady descent for me, like a pebble sinking in a vat of vegetable oil.

I'm beginning to disbelieve Geoff when he told me that the best players to select have a D after their names. \:\/

Forget fantasy. It's just insult to injury. The Astros are tearing me apart. 9 runs allowed in one inning.

P.S. I know who to blame. I'm looking at you, JG!!
