We had that done some years ago and its a good thing we did... the old 8mm film had been deteriorating pretty badly (considering that it was over 50 years old). I watch the tape every so often and almost always get very emotional (seeing all those family members no longer alive).

These are wonderful ideas. I don't know that any of my relatives have home movies like this. It is a good idea how technology makes it so much easier to relive and enjoy our past. This way we can enjoy our memories for all time.
