I know that a lot of you will disagree, but my least favorite part is Robert DeNiro as the young Vito, (except for the stalking and assassination of Don Fanucci). Other than that, I found that by our knowing beforehand that his character and family are destined to survive, there is not the same drama that the story of Michael had. And I never was convinced that DeNiro's Vito would mature into being Brando's Vito(Who else could have been, except a young Brando). Also it seemed to be just plain gimmicky;
"Oh! there's the young Clemenza and Tessio" and "There's a young Hyman Roth, and now he's old and doing business with Vito's son" it has to be considered the weakest link in the two films.
You are insane.
