Look, if you slap Tarantino's name onto something, people are going to see it (even he presents it, people still think he directs it). Take advantage of the stupid people like they have been doing. I'm not sure what their final figures were on advertising but I saw a lot. I thought they could have cut back and saved some money. However, the DVDs haven't been released yet so lets see what happens. Nowadays movies flop in the box office and regain it all in DVD sales/rentals.
