Finally made my reservation, and it went very smoothly.

The person couldn't tell me how many rooms were taken/left out of our block - the reservations manager would have to look that up, and s/he wasn't there.

I was pretty shocked when she asked smoking or non \:o She put the request in, but I suppose there are no guarantees...

Hopefully I will stay at the right hotel this time!

I woke up this morning with nothing to do and went to bed with only half of it done.

I heard that there's a good Spanish place. I might like that. Is there a Shula's in New Brunswick? I heard that they're pretty good.

That IS a shame. Are there any good ice cream places. Maybe we can all just order a big plate of onion rings and share....

Shula's is great, especially considering that it's a chain restaurant.

When I'm at my place in Florida, I go to the one in Ft Lauderdale all the time. It's right in the Yankee Trader Hotel overlooking the beach. If you finish their 48 oz steak you get your name posted on their website (if you want it posted).

It's much better than Outback. That place should have a warning from the surgeon general posted at the door.

Funny thing is that I cannot find Onion Rings on HOLSTEN'S MENU!

I think that site could use a little makeover -- and those prices are probably from the 60's \:o

Yes, you're right. I just looked at the prices.

It seems that the menu is about 9 years old. There is a newspaper review on the site which is from 1998!!! \:o

Well even if they didin't originally have onion rings on the menu, you can bet your ass that they've added them now! ;\)

I don't know what you're driving at pal, but Outback couldn't scrape a pimple off of Shula's ass.

That's where I was driving to! You looking for a fight or something? I'll meet you at Shula's in Manhatten. The loser pays. We'll save the Broccoli for Geoff! ;\)

Look at the grizzle on the edges of Outback Steak. Look at the texture of it too. \:x

It doesn't even come close to the Shula steak.

I've eaten both. Shula's Steaks are like diamonds and Outback Steaks are like cubic zirconias!

So you're saying that Outback steaks are a foo-gay-zee?

Shula's steaks are a beautiful thing.

Yeah, but they're not my thing.

Speaking of steak houses, Peter Luger's isn't Pizzaboy's favorite Brooklyn restaurant, although it's not far from there.

The Palm West is my favorite one out of all The Palm locations. What I really love about it is that if you have a dozen people, you can get their private room with your own private waiters and busboys. Their signature fried onions are to die for!
