Wow, for a second there I thought Ant was back. eek There are so many things Ive "learned" but for the most part they really cant be applied to real life situations. It has however, increased my awareness of fine cinema.

It taught me never to judge, hastily at least.
They can't be absolutely bad or good, the last especially smile . And never, never punish those close to me with pain they never intended to give myself. We have no right.

It's been a while since I've been on the board and it's great to be back. I have missed so much reading the daily thoughts of my fellow Godfather followers.
I think what I have learned or gotten from the Godfather story is how important family is - well, until Michael killed Fredo - but that would not have happened if Fredo went against the family!
Also, what I really walked away from and is constantly on my mind (especially at work) is, like Vito said, I never want to be a puppet. I don't ever want someone else pulling my strings and have to dance as they say!
There are countless other actions and phrases that I have started using but the above are the main. blush
