As for the Melinda booting, this goes to show the complete and utter stupidity of the American public. She was, by far, the most consistent and talented performer that has ever appeared on Idol.
SB, SB, SB....although I agree with you, I would guess that the voting demographic would favor the younger performer. Melinda was more of a mainstream performer with more appeal to the older folks (like us).
