I was in Catholic school only from 4th grade thru 8th, and although I agree, the nuns were very strict, I don't every remember anyone getting reprimanded for their attire. However, we had uniforms rolleyes (which I hated), and that probably was part of the reason.

I have heard many times about the patent leather shoes, and nuns hitting your hand with a ruler/yardstick or something like that, but in my school anyway, I never saw or experienced anything like that. Maybe a high school was different than middle school in that respec though. ohwell
