Tequila is a "hard boiled" cop who loses his partner in a shoot-out with gun smugglers. In order to bring down the gun smugglers, Tequila must team up with an undercover cop named Tony, who goes undercover as a hired gun with a Hong Kong Triad, which is run by a vicious boss named Johnny Wong.
I am now convinced John Woo is one of the great action directors of all time. Great fighting, shoot out and explosion scenes. This is another reason why I think Chow Yun-Fat is a great action star. He's not a martial artists like a Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan, but to me, he's like the Bruce Willis of Hong Kong.
