Well, lets just say it was the finest piece of tail I ever saw.

And you had to pay for it too.

You probably just bet on the horse because it said she was smoking and stacked.

All joking aside, it was one of the saddest things I've ever seen.

I watched as they brought HIM out of the paddock area and down towards the track. I yelled out "Make it good, Smokestack". Another 10-12 steps after that the horse rolled over onto the dirt and had a fit. I watched as his legs went flailing and then turned away as his trainer and owner came running over, crying, trying to comfort the horse.

Two minutes later the track officials had put up a "blind" around the horse (to block the view of the crowd), but by that time it was already too late. I'll never be able to forget that image.

That is very sad. I hate to see any kind of animal suffering like that. Like all of us hope to do he went out doing what he loved. I'd probably have nightmares over something like that.

All joking aside, it was really really sad. I think that we stayed for maybe another race or two because after witnessing that we just could not seem to get back in the betting mood. As SC said, between seeing the horse suffer like that and then the trainer crying, it was a real heartbreaker.

talk about a day from hell, first a can of red bull pops in my pocket soaking the side of my leg, then i went to get some chips from a vending machine and they get stuck, i come home and go to turn on the xbox 360 to listen to music and i get the "red ring of death" meaning the system won't work. what the hell could go wrong next.
