I have a virus on my work computer. You'd think with the lovely ITG department we have here they'd figure out ways to stop viruses from getting here. My computer is only 2 years old and the ITG guy said even the Norton antivirus was outdated. The sadder thing is I only have Windows 2000. Wonder if I could get him to upgrade me to at least Windows XP. They have to come and completely re-install my Operating System. This place blows!!!
Beth, this happened to my son's laptop, my daughter's laptop and my personal computer all in the same week! I had a tech guy that I am freinds with come over to see what the hell was going on and it turns out that my kids picked up a MY SPACE virus that is going around. It basically slows down all of your applications and makes using your computer basically impossible. He had to re-build all three computers from scratch!
