Who originally wrote what you regurgitated in the thread-starter?
Saw it on Snopes. The same website that holds records of a man being forcefully sodomized by a second, masked man in a Batman costume? Damn it, he's got us now!
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

Ah yes, that well-known academic source; a cousin, in fact, of Wikipedia. And yet, it does confirm that the email is true. The truth is the truth, no matter where it comes from. Though at least I named my source. Frankly, I don't see many major academic publications ripping on Al Gore right now, because they're all racing to bear his love child. Take that for what it is. Nonetheless, I still think Snopes holds more water than any message board film rating.

Ah yes, that well-known academic source; a cousin, in fact, of Wikipedia. And yet, it does confirm that the email is true. The truth is the truth, no matter where it comes from. Though at least I named my source. Ugh. Not really the truth at all if you look at the numbers closely. Numbers are so easy to distort. Where are the sources for those numbers? Gore's electricity company has no record of being contacted about his bills, and do not give out private information anyway. And the "average" american household number includes trailers and small homes for all america. But let's assume it is, that his bill is all what you say. Let's do some math for averages by csf for HIS area. According to NES an average home in Nashville consumes 15,600 kwh and 19.83 kwh per square foot. (In Gore's climatic zone, although not in not in a northern or Midwestern "snow belt", it is the East South Central where the average is much higher, thanks to hot, humid summers and cold winters ). Gore home is 10000SF and ASSUMING 221,000 kWh number is accurate (you say it is and that emaill is, so MAYBE? even though no one has a proven bill from TVA) his usuage close to the average range for his climate region. And he does this will a home fully staffed and used all year round. OK, so his house is ABOVE average so he uses A LOT of energy. Even then it isn't 20x more like 3x the average. So all this accusation boils down to is a claim that it is somehow "hypocritical" for Al Gore to live in a large house. See? You can't just look at numbers and statistics given to you, you have to THINK for yourself and compare apples with apples.

Ah yes, that well-known academic source; a cousin, in fact, of Wikipedia. And yet, it does confirm that the email is true. The truth is the truth, no matter where it comes from. Though at least I named my source. Wikipedia "confirms" many things to be true, also. And you only named your source when I asked you about it. Otherwise, you'd've been passing the post off as your own. Frankly, I don't see many major academic publications ripping on Al Gore right now, because they're all racing to bear his love child. Take that for what it is. I don't really care much for Al Gore, or what he may or may not be doing to the environment. Nonetheless, I still think Snopes holds more water than any message board film rating. The same message board you once got banned from and still decided to come back to? (But let's not get petty. Having digs at someone who writes a lot about films and then happens to post some of it on a message board is, well, irrelevant to the points I was making. Whether you hold Snopes in higher esteem than what I have to say on this film or that film is completely besides the point. Smiley face or not. And people wonder how personal flame wars start. Geez.)
...dot com bold typeface rhetoric. You go clickety click and get your head split. 'The hell you look like on a message board Discussing whether or not the Brother is hardcore?
