I grew up in a Dodger household. The Yankees were always the enemy. When the Dodgers moved to LA it was unthinkable to root for them. (The closest I came to that was rooting for Mantle and Maris to break Babe Ruth's record in '61). I tried cheering for the Mets in '62 (when they were set up) but they were so awfully bad it was hard to do. One of my brother's best friends, Rico Petrocelli, was drafted by the Sox and made the team in '63 so I became a fan of theirs.

Oddly enough, I've been to more Yankees games than all other teams combined.
